While I've been home and not working, I have been trying to keep myself busy. Lately I have been organizing cabinets and drawers. Now with that done I am not obsessing about updating our 1980's house. I look at catalogs, look at the Internet and look into other people's homes as Simon and I walk every night.
How can I get rid of the 80's cabinets without spending a fortune? What can I do to the guest bathroom that I mistakenly painted yellow a few years ago? What colors should we paint our house?
How do I stop my husband and I's pack rat mentality. If we haven't used it in 10 years what makes us think that we will in the next few? Where did we get this from? Is it a unknown gene given at conception? Both my mom and dad have it. I was doomed.
