Thanksgiving Weekend

We went to my Mom’s for Thanksgiving. We had a great day and lots of food was eaten by all. Simon carved the Turkey. He was a very Elton Brown Good Eats carver.
We were very busy this weekend. We started putting up the tree on Thursday and finished yesterday. We even wrapped all the X-mas presents that we have purchased early. So far I’m only missing one present; hopefully it will show up before the 25th.

I think both of these will come in handy if I ever get what I really want for X-mas.... a baby!

We are on month three of tiring and still nothing. I hope and pray that by this time next year we will be planning baby's first X-mas. Any old wives tales that you may have for getting preggie will be appreciated.

My Husband

Simon, Simon, Simon…. God how I love him, but sometimes I want to scream! Yesterday he fell down the stairs at work. He did this act of grace at 11:00 am, but waited until I got home from work at 5:40 to go to the urgent care for what he thought was a broken ankle. No worries he only sprained his ankle, but refused any drugs or even an ACE bandage.

I’m sure now that I will never get my washer and dryer moved to the garage and my new pantry for at least another few months.

What I Want for X-Mas

For the first time in a long time I'm having a hard time thinking of things I want for X-mas. Here are the two items that I'd like...

Scene It Squabble. I think it would be fun. We have almost all the other ones why not this one too.

The meat grinder for my Kitchen Aid. I'd like to make my own ground chicken and turkey to save money....
