Remotes

Remotes have become the item of choice in our household of late.  ‘N’ has discovered that they do things and wants to check them out.  It started with the remote to the fan in our bedroom.  After seeing Mommy, Daddy and Grandma use it by pointing it at the fan; he decided to try too.  He has very successfully figured out the fan remote and will steal it any chance he can get.

Then came the cable remote.  We thought we very cleverly figured out how to hide it from ‘N’ by putting it in-between the pillows of the couch or putting it on top of the couch out of ‘N’ eyesight.  Yea right, now he climbs on the couch and puts his little hands under the pillows and finds the remote.  He is also very good at trying to order pay-per-view.  for X-mas Santa brought him a ELMO remote that looks almost exactly like the cable remote.  He loves it and sometimes thinks it is our remote.  The other day I found him on the couch trying to put it under the pillows.  He was being all sneaky like I’m sure we look when we put the real remote there.  It was too cute for words, and just reminded me just how smart that little boy is.
