Publix Deals

A good friend of mine started a coupon website recently. Although I have been a coupon girl for about a year now, her website reminded me of the correct way to coupon. Not just take my box and spend hours at Publix. After reading the paper this morning and getting some great coupons I open the Publix ad on their website. I looked at what was on sale and what I had coupons for. After making a long list of what was needed and almost everything on the list had either a C (coupon), S (sale) or BOGO (Buy one get one) next to it I went to Publix. At the end of my shopping trip my total was $50.50. I saved almost 50% off my total by using coupons, and sale items.
Vendor coupons: $9.74
Store Coupon: $5.00
Advertised Special Savings: $30.88
Advantage Buy Savings: $2.28
Total: $47.90

With this I got fresh fruit, cheese, organic baby food, gourmet tuna, Eggland Best eggs and yogurt (to name a few).
Got to love saving 50%!!

Don't forget you can use Albertson's coupons at Publix! There is a $5 off a purchase of $50 at Albertsons for F/S/Sun of this week. It was in Wednesday's paper...
