Yesterday, Nathan had a rash on his neck. By 5:00 it was all over his body. Being a new Mom I freaked and packed him up and took him to the night time peds office.
The doctor was as nice as could be. After she took one look at him she turned to me and said, 'First time Mom?' It ended up being a heat rash and no big deal. While we were there they weighed him. I've been wondering how much he weighed but have not had the nerve to get on a scale to get my weight then pick him up and get on the scale to see the difference.
According to my baby book the average weight and size of a five week old should be: 9.4 & 21 1/4 in. (considering that N was born 9 pds and 22 in we know he is not average). They did not measure him, but his weight was 12.6 pds. When I look at the book that is an average size for a 16 week old. I love my big boy!

Holy Cow! He's the size of a 16 week old at 5 weeks???!!! He's HUGE! Does your pediatrician think he's a big boy?
They didn't comment on his size this visit. I don;t feel I'm over feeding him since he doesn't spit up the formula and just eats when he is hungry.
