So in Love

We had our new precious one on September 16th at 10:05 pm. He weighed in at 9 pounds and was 22 inches long. It was a ruff road. I was in labor for three days and was not progressing at all. I was so miserable with not getting any sleep for three days. My contractions were coming every five minutes from the back. On Tuesday they started the meds to make me contract more. I was in so much pain until I got to three centimeters and was able to get the epidural. Once I got the epidural things went pretty fast. By 9:00 pm I was pushing and by 10:00 pm he was here. There were a few scary moments. The cord was wrapped around his neck and his blood pressure went way down while I was pushing. I of course did not know this was happening and was told a day later.

We spent three whole days in the hospital. I was not feeling that great and wanted the extra attention before we came home.

We came home yesterday and he slept a lot. We have now learned our lesson and will not let him sleep that much during the day. When we wanted to go to bed he was not going to have it. We also learned that he is afraid of the dark. We couldn’t understand way when we got him settled and sleeping he would start screaming when the lights went off. After about four attempts to get him to sleep I told S I think he is afraid of the dark. When we got a night light in our room and turned out the lights he slept for five hours.

thank you for the pics you emailed! he looks so sweet. Bo was not a fan of the dark until after 6 weeks. We slept with the night light function on our fan on. He still like to sleep in the swing with the lights on. I cant wait to meet your little man!
