Well we closed on the house and all the work has started. I do not claim to be the best housekeeper in the world, but who ever owned this house before us were complete slobs. Now if I spilled soda down the cabinets I would clean it up - correct? No they left it so that it is now a glue texture that is really hard to remove. Tile - I thought the grout was black or dark when we first looked at the house. Oh no! It's white or a light brown. I've been on my hands and knees cleaning the grout lines in a 3,000 sq foot house that is ALL tile.
Simon has been painting the house. It has been a project, but the house will be so pretty when we are done.
